Chess and Othello both come with a long tradition of maxims and received wisdom. Rather than simply repeating it, Game Dojo analyses real positions and compares what each candidate move actually leads to. Every number is a real result, not an estimate.

The two games are checked differently. Chess uses Stockfish 18 Lite WASM at depth 20, comparing the evaluation of each candidate move. Othello endgames can be read to the very last move, so our own solver computes the exact final disc margin.
